Formed in 2003, Doc Brown’s Blues Band is a tight Denver -based Blues Trio that plays a wide variety of blues styles. Comprised of long time Front Range Music veterans Mark “Doc” Brown (guitar, slide guitar, vocals), Joseph Pacheco (bass, vocals), and Mark Messenger (drums, vocals), the band strives to deliver authentic blues feel with originals and cover arrangements that feel fresh and vibrant. Doc and the band have collectively decades of experience with various bands and have hosted hosted several long running open blues jam in the Denver area including the famous and long running Ziggies Sunday Night Blues Jam, The Sunday Jam at Rockabillies, the Sunday Jam at Plaza38, and The Monday Night Jam at Oddes Music Grill. The band was selected to represent The Mile High Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis January 2026. The band has a CD, “Prescription For the Blues”, which was called “an album of infectious grooves guaranteed to keep the feet happy and dancing at any party” by Colorado Music Buzz Magazine.
